It's no secret that Christmastime music is some of our very best music; this type of music usually has very upbeat sounding melodies and catchy lyrics that make you want to sing along with them practically wherever you are! These songs have been lovingly crafted and performed with a great deal of sensitivity; and that's grand. I also like that this is a budget priced CD; this way as many people as possible can afford to buy it--the price is very reasonable as of the time of this writing.

Very enjoyable Christmas CD that added more enjoyment and memories to the holiday season. Some very fine holiday music on this one that will bring back many wonderful holiday memories. CD also sounds above average when played.

Various ~ Nightmare Before Christmas

Then there are the demos. These are fantastic, if for no other reason, then because Elfman does all the vocals himself. There is a note in the liner notes saying "All vocals by Danny Elfman" in regards to the demos. He does some amazing work, probably fooling with many synths and vocal layering. This is Halloween and Kidnap the Sandy Claws really show this. Of particular interest though are the cuts that were done to Making Christmas. It's fun to hear a version that was clearly a work in progress. Despite these being demos and Elfman probably only needing to provide a guiding vocal, he really has fun with these.

Michael Bublé has a special holiday gift for his naughty and nice fans. The multi Grammy Award winning Canadian presents Christmas. The album includes guest performances by Shania Twain on "White Christmas" and The Puppini Sisters on "Jingle Bells." Bublé also put his unique take on such classics as "Silent Night," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town."
